I took this picture to differ from the traditions of magazines and their conventions. Having a model swearing allows for the audience to see an alternate side to magazines and what they show. Audiences that I am targeting will find it as an interesting altercation where as in magazines published in mainstream media wouldn't necessarily use images like these.
I made use of a continuous motif with all my images where the majority of my models , apart from those used on my double page spread - where I used models where their whole face can be seen. I took this image to show and represent an urban audience. It it quite an aggressive image, where the model is biting her necklace in an aggressive manor. She is almost asking her audience a question saying ' what are you looking at? ' . This causes for my target audience to be interested and interigued to know what the article that this model is based on is about.
This image shows my model wearing a pair of Dr Dre Beats™ headphones. As my magazine is about music , and the majority of people who will be interested will have a passion for music whether it is r'n'b to pop. I found that many people that my magazine has been targetted at are purchasing this product will find that the music genre they are interested in targets these areas but also be open to listening to other types of music.
The image of this model portrays what a profile picture is. It is a long shot , showing the outline of the models face and the top half of her body. I used this image to show how different types of images can show and connote different stories. I have fashioned and allowed for the model to wear a watch necklace symobilisng that she is conscious of time. The smaller necklace with a love heart and a bow. This shows that she is still inncoent and young but still has a quite fashionable side to her. The connotation of this image is that she will attract a wide range of readers due to her stylistic features. She still makes continous us of the sunglasses adding an element of mystery to her profile, allowing for the audience to have a deeper meaning as to what she is about.
Also in this photograph I continued the motif of using sunglasses . The effect created will give the audience a desire to see what is beneath the glasses. Trends of the sean show that sunglasses are something that are loved by all and the well known brand Ray-Ban allows for designs of normal viewing glasses to be adapted and used for every purposes. This image is a close up showing the reflection of what we think can be seen by the model. Having a clear reflection of the grass in front allows for us to see through the eyes of another. The expression posed by the model shows how she is almost taken away by what she is seeing, describing and refelcting it's beauty in her eyes. This can be interpreted by the audience and intrigue them into purchasing and making use of the Ray'Ban label , buying sunglasses that give the same effect.
The purpose of this image is to attract a more fashionable and make-up interested audience, being mainly feamale. The essense of this image is to catch the beauty that is seen both through the make up and what is beneath it as well. I have used the image to reprsents those who take pride in make up and enjoy wearing it. It also is for a sction in my magazine ' YoungAbi's School Of Make-Up '. This gives readers an insight to how to develop previous makeup skills but also teach those who are not so confident in the application. This will attract more of a female audience as the majority of females after the age of 17 begin to wear or have come aware of make and it's uses.
